Fonds Kochno [microform] ca. 1911-1929

Boris Kochno, 1904-1990, was a close friend of Serge Diaghliev, serving as his secretary until the latter's death in 1929. The original collection comprising the is located in the . Tthe collection was microfilmed for the Dance Collection of the New York Public Library, by Bibliothéque Nationale Service Photographique, Paris, via Hubert Goldschmidt. The microfilm represents Fonds Kochno, Piéces 1-156, which includes manuscripts, correspondence, contracts, notebooks, photographs, a few engravings, sketches, programs, passports, ballet scenarios, articles and other materials relating to and the . This material covers the period 1911-1929, with most dating from 1916-1928 and one item from 1938. Piéces 1-108 comprise Diaghliev's correspondence.
